Get ready to meet the most famous comedian you've never heard of: Walter Walloon Beckett, all-singing, all-dancing humorist extraordinaire and the last of the famous Beckett clan.

A story of a rabbit in a trap reflecting on his life and one true love, a bilby called Boo Boo. With sparse prose and killing humour, Not Like Beckett presents an allegory of colonial Australia by using that most cunning of metaphoric figures, the rabbit, and by acknowledging a debt to writer Samuel Beckett's extraordinarily sustained originality and artistry.

Beneath the bone-dry wit and sparse simplicity of this play dwells a tender and unexpectedly touching tale of love and beauty as fierce and affecting as the landscape in which it is set.
