While Michael was on Holidays in South East Asia, Daniel Sekers from Concept Entertainment Group (Sydney) sent him an email, it went something like this "Hey Mike, how are you going, what are you up to in March?". Little did Michael know what he was about to get himself into.

Optus, through Optus Media Solutions, produce some fantastic concepts and content for internal staff events. The second major event we have worked on with Stephen & Tanya, Making it Happen, was a well devised and executed event for roughly 600 staff of Optus Consumer Multimedia in Melbourne.

The Guests were ushered into the first room of the Melbourne & Olympic Park Function Rooms, seated theatre style with the walls and stage converted to all white. After a number of Vision and Speech items a team of drummers and flame jugglers entered from the rear of the seating bank, and Optus' own 'Survivor' (the reality show) Host appeared through the walls, behind the stage, to invite guests onto the stage and into two reavealed passages right through the wall!

Welcome to reality!

Well... welcome to Optus' version of the reality TV hit 'Survivor'. Not only did trafficlight supply all the Staging, AV, Audio, and Lighting for the Presentation, but in the 'Party Room' we designed and supplied Lighting, Audio, Theming, AV, Seating, Staging and Rigging. The room really did look like a Survivor set, with our own Tribal Council Stage and Survivor Challenges.
